Posted 5/29/2012

The Rebels 17U team traveled to Dallas Memorial Day weekend to compete in Under Armour's, "Are You From Here?" Classic Tournament. After a slow start loosing the first game to Net Gain Sports (Minnesota) 75-69, the Rebels rallied back with a vengeance against Rashard Lewis' team, beating them 60-31. The Rebels continued their winning streak beating the Las Vegas Prospects (82-67), Under Armour's Baltimore Finest (54-44), SportsU (101-83), DC Assault (61-60), and ended up meeting Net Gain Sports again in the Championship game, defeating them 48-22 for the title!

The success was an entire team effort, with a strong leadership showing from Kevon Looney, DeAndre Harris, Demontrae Jefferson, David Burrell, and Branden Key.

Congratulations to the 17U basketball team!
