The Capital Campaign began on April 26, 2006 and has raised a total of $225,000 in cash donations. Our goal is to raise $3,690,000 to renovate our existing facility and build a new basketball/fitness center addition. We have a challenge grant from the Daniel M. Soref Charitable Fund to raise $537,000 by April 30, 2008. Upon reaching that goal, the foundation will give us $637,000. We are reaching out to private foundations, corporations and individuals to help us. Please send your donation to the Development Office. The youth and staff of Running Rebels thank you for your help and generosity.
Running Rebels Community Organization accepts monies and gifts-in-kind to further its mission to inner city at-risk youth. Your support is essential so we can continue to provide the high quality of services our youth need during these challenging times.
These are gifts that are given with no particular purpose and are especially encouraged. This gives the flexibility to take advantage of special opportunities and to meet emergency needs.
Donors may designate a specific program for use. These can be used for scholarships or specific program needs.
Donors may make pledge commitments payable over several years.
Gifts of real estate, equipment, art, jewelry and other personal property may be made. Such gifts will be determined at fair market value by a qualified, independent third-party appraiser, subject to IRS rules and regulations.
Planned or deferred gifts allow donors to make a significant gift that will benefit our agency in the future, typically at the donor’s or beneficiary’s death. We welcome the opportunity to work with donors and their legal and financial advisers to establish planned gifts.
Bequest provisions in a donor’s will are always welcomed by our agency.
