Athletics are a valuable teaching tool with youth.  Through hard work and dedication, great things can be accomplished.  Running Rebels continues to use athletics to build and develop character in all of the youth that participate.
Running Rebels Athletic program continues to grow, now adding a Football and Boxing program to an already impressive lineup of Basketball, Track and Cheerleading.  Ages vary for each of the programs.  Volunteers are needed.  If you are interested in obtaining information on any of the programs, please contact:

2009 RUNNING REBELS YOUTH FOOTBALL

It’s time to start planning for FOOTBALL! RRCO football conditioning and skills week starts June 6 with uniforms to be distributed on Saturday, August 22.
 
REGISTRATION
• Early registration is from now through February 7 2009 to June 6 2009.

• Regular registration is between June 6 and August 1. Registration for a team willclose at 20 players.

• Late registration: Only for a team with less than 20 players.

• When a team is filled at 22, potential players will be placed on a waiting list for an opening. If an opening occurs, players will be called in the order on the list for the appropriate team level and register at that time.

• Forms are available at the Running Rebels building RRCO office,  phone us at 264-8222.

The Track program enters its second season.  There are currently open spots for the team; athletes must be between the ages of nine and eighteen and include both females and males.  To receive more information about the program,  please contact Anwar Jenkins at (414) 788-3063.

CHEERLEADING

The Cheerleading program is relatively new to the organization, but has seen great strides.  Currently there are seven girls on the team.  The Cheerleading program is looking to fill 3-5 spots.  The program looks for girls in the eight to thirteen age group; a try out can be schedule by contacting T.J. Lowery at, (414) 940-5137.  There is no previous experience required.

BOXING

Boxing is the newest component to the athletic program, brought on by interest of youth who regularly attend the Running Rebels Community Organization.  Currently a full team is comprised, but a waiting list is being formed of those interested between the ages of twelve and eighteen.  To get your name on the waiting list, please contact Maurice Brown at 414-788-0931.
